So I've had their king cake to go before and damn was it good. So on this particular trip I wanted to come inside and get their baked goods in person. They have a lot to offer and we tried so many items including the banh mi. But I have to report back that even though many of the items were Ok, I'd stick to the pate chaud. Their traditional is delicious but their bbq pork pate chaud was over the top good!!! I wish I would have gotten more of these to go instead of sampling all the other things. I'll make this stop every time I'm driving through from now on!

I am torn between and 3 or 4 rating. We loved the food. I ordered special pho and my wife ordered "hủ tíu". My phở, I was not expecting much, turned out to be really good. The food was served very hot, which is needed for phở. Very quality, lots of meat, and have all the authentic ingredients. So for that reason overall rating is 4. Ambience, cleanliness, and server friendliness leave....definitely some opportunities there.

Oh my goodness!! Best Vietnamese I've had in New Orleans , hands down. Everything I had was excellent. The Bahn mi French cold cuts was completely on point. Bun bo hue was also a winner , I wasn't a fan of the tofu. This is classic Vietnamese. Only it's not too low brow. The spring rolls were excellent. They are worth going for by themselves. Service was also very good, the restaurant was very clean. You have to go next-door to the bakery to order the sandwich. You pay for it and sit outside and wait. Totally worth the wait.

The drive here is worth it BUT make sure you call before because sometimes the google times are not correct. I normally get the bun bo hue (spicy beef soup) from the restaurant and it is soooo good and comforting. Very fragrant with lemongrass, brisket, tofu and pork hocks. Service is quick and you need to order everything at once. There are a good bit of tables but it is tight inside. Once you finish your meal, go next door to the bakery and get banh mi and meat pies.
